How does the keg get pressurised?
It depends on the model: the 5-litre dispenser keg (KM-ZAP5) works with automatic pressurised dispensing — fill the keg, build pressure, pour; its gauge reads up to 150 PSI. The 128 oz growler (KM-GR128) pours pressure-regulated via its removable regulator.
CO₂ or pump — what else do I need?
The KM-ZAP5 is designed as a complete pressurised keg kit system with automatic pressurised dispensing and an adjustable tap; the KM-GR128 comes with its tap and regulator. The 8-litre growler (KM-GR8) is a classic transport and storage keg with a spiral lid — it works without a dispensing system. See each product page for what is included.
How do I clean the keg after use?
Rinse with warm water and a mild detergent right after pouring, rinse thoroughly and let it dry open. Avoid aggressive or abrasive cleaners — that keeps the stainless steel taste-neutral.
Which beer are the kegs suited for?
Everything that tastes best fresh from the tap: your own homebrew, craft beer and draft beer. Per its kit system, the KM-ZAP5 can also serve as a dispenser for other beverages.
Do the kegs work as gifts?
They are our core idea: solid stainless steel bar equipment you gift to homebrewers and craft fans. To be upfront: orders ship in sturdy transport packaging; we do not currently offer separate gift wrapping.
Which size should I pick?
Rule of thumb: the 5-litre dispenser keg for a first tap at the home bar, the portable 8-litre growler for homebrewers with their own batch, the double-wall 128 oz system (approx. 3.8 litres) for craft beer lovers who want a pressure-regulated pour.
